T+1 May Not Happen, Says Technology Consultancy

LONDON--Trading Technology, a technology consultancy for brokers, exchanges and clearing houses, says that a study it conducted recently reveals that few have thought through the risks arising from T+1, and fewer still have identified any benefits.

Trading Technology adds that the timeframe for T+1, now delayed to 2005, is so long that the project is in danger of being cancelled completely.
