The IT department of BNP Paribas in London is looking a bit like the proverbial sinking ship, with staff scampering off as soon as is fiscally possible. The IT departments in London and Paris are going to be restructured, sources tell Insider, and this will be announced this week. The upshot appears to be that the French culture of BNP is steamrolling over Paribas’ more international style, and sources believe that there will be even more fallout in the IT department very soon as a result.
