LONDON--"The biggest challenge facing Virt-x is working with members and its parent SWX--the Swiss Exchange--to maintain the technical advantage it has over its competitors," says Virt-x’s director of business development Lee Hodgkinson.
The exchange’s response, he says, will be to offer enhanced functionality, mainly in the area of STP. "While Virt-x/SWX are currently the only exchanges to offer full STP straight out of the box, market surveys indicate that further enhancements would be welcomed
