First Java Banking Meet Cites Scalability, Standards, Integration

DUBLIN--The first Java Banking World Assembly heralded a collection of banking technology delegates who all claim the future of banking IT will be based on scalable systems designed around industry-wide standards to allowing ease of integration of disparate solutions.

Although Java Banking 2000 focused on retail banking, the event also hosted representatives from institutional IT service providers who made predictions about the direction of banking systems in general.
