Bigger, Faster, Safer Smartsockets Coming From Talarian

NEW YORK--QV Trading, which is building a multi-dealer interbroker fixed-income trading system, plans to base its network around Talarian’s new version of its Smartsockets messaging software, which will be announced formally this week.
"They address a lot of the issues facing people like us who are implementing an architecture that will accommodate over 100,000 user connections and hundreds of thousands of subscriptions," Neville Orellana, vice president of technology at QV Trading, tells TTW.
