ABN Amro Details Cuts

ABN Amro is planning to outsource a large number of IT positions by September, following a series of decisions to reduce the number of technology jobs by 1,500, a bank spokesperson tells DWT.

In December 2004, the Dutch bank, which has 5,000 IT positions globally, declared that 1,200 positions would be made redundant. In April of this year, the company raised the number of positions being made redundant to 1,500.
