UBS Warburg’s Sommer’s Three ‘C’s: Capacity, Connectivity, Clients

STAMFORD, Conn.--Joseph Sommer says capacity is the most pressing issue in his new role as executive director, electronic executions, regional head, Americas at UBS Warburg.

Sommer, who left Credit Suisse First Boston last month to join UBS, says the most urgent item on his agenda is capacity, which he notes is a Street-wide issue. "I think what happened is that with decimalization, people were believing statistics that there would be a two- to three-fold increase in traffic."
