Brian Slater
, the former managing director of domestic technology for Chemical Bank, is leaving the new Chase next month to start his own consulting practice, a source close to the bank says. Early this year, when Rupinder Puri, the former head of global markets operations and technology for the new Chase announced his direct reports, they did not include Slater (TST, Jan. 8). Puri himself left the bank recently (TST, May 27); his position was taken over by Tony Herriott.
