IXnet Floats 6.5 Million Shares In Flat IPO; Common Stock Hovers At $15 Via Nasdaq

NEW YORK--Touting its financial services extranet capabilities, IXnet, a wholly owned subsidiary of IPC Information Systems, had a fairly flat initial public offering (IPO) via Nasdaq last week.
Trading under the EXNT symbol, IXnet floated 6.5 million shares of common stock at a price of $15 per share; the share price stayed about the same by the end of the day, trading at 15 1/16 at press time. The figure for the common stock outstanding after the offering was put at 50.6 million "or 51,725,000
