US Sprint Wins SIA Phone Deal, Beating Out MCI And AT&T

The Securities Industry Association has signed a three-year telecommunications contract with US Sprint under which its members will receive reduced rates on long-distance phone service. The SIA opted for US Sprint, a subsidiary of United Telecommunications Inc., at the expense of MCI Communications Corp. following several months of negotiations.
