NASDAQ International To Go Live In September

The National Association of Securities Dealers' board of directors last week approved NASDAQ International, an extension of the domestic trading system for over-the-counter and listed stocks to the European time zone. The system, which must be approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission before a planned September launch, is designed to attract increased trading from NASD market makers in the U.K. and on the Continent.

NASDAQ is already linked to the Stock Exchange Automated Quotations
