International Securities Exchange: Designed By Net2s Using Cisco Products

NEW YORK--The first new securities exchange to be registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 27 years, the International Securities Exchange (ISE), runs on a network designed by Net2s, a French consultancy and systems integrator that has expanded into the US.

Ali Pichvai, chief executive officer of Net2s, says that ISE’s fiber optic network runs on routers from Cisco Systems and has Cisco PIX firewalls. There is no asynchronous transfer mode technology (ATM) in the network
