Dean Witter Uses Zainet In Forex Desk Expansion

When Dean Witter Reynolds Inc. decided a year ago to expand its tiny foreign exchange trading operation, newly-hired FX head trader Barry Fetner knew he needed help. To increase Dean Witter's daily FX trading volume from 10 or 15 tickets to its current average of 350, Fetner says: "We needed a new system."

Dean Witter finally chose a forex trade processing system designed by fledgling Zaitech Software Inc., founded a year and a half ago in New York by two Wharton School graduates. Called ZAINET
