Euro Electronic Money Market Brokers To Merge

LONDON--Rival European electronic money market derivatives brokerages Atenx and IFOX are merging to form Atfox. Around 60 percent of European inter-dealer money market trading volumes are currently transacted over the two firms’ individual platforms. So, when the merged platform goes live in late summer, Atfox should become the dominant electronic brokerage for the trading of interest rate swaps with a maturity of up to two years.
