Audit Committee Picks Five To Supply Prototypes
THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES
The Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade's joint AUDIT committee has chosen five finalists to build prototypes of the hand-held Automated Data Input Terminals (TST, March 26). The committee hopes to have working prototypes on the floor by yearend.
The teams chosen are:
Hand Held Products Inc. (with one or two undisclosed partners)
Tandem Computers Inc., partnered with Murata Hand-Held Terminals Inc., Omnipoint Data Co. and Applied Microsystems
Synerdyne, with Agilis Corp
