Is Global Financial Information Corp. having an identity crisis? After spending the past year trying to get the GFI brand-name to leap quickly to the lips of financial information consumers, the vendor has decided to drop the name and adopt the appellation one of its units: Bridge. Henceforth, all of the company's products and services, including Knight-Ridder Financial news, will be known as Bridge services. Apparently, an interdealer-broker also named GFI challenged the company on the name
