Logiscope Closes NY Office; Denies London Layoffs
ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY
LONDON--Logicscope, a London-based market data distribution software company, has closed its New York office, the company confirms.
Logicscope opened the New York office a year ago, when it appointed Emilio Mercado to head it up (TTW, June 25, 2001). Logicscope had hoped to work more closely with its established client base in the US, as well as gain new US clients, but sources say the recession in the financial technology sector prevented its expansion.
A source familiar with the company says
