I had to chuckle when I saw the piece in The Wall Street Journal/Europe, my old rag--I love calling it that--about German banks getting the blame for various euro-related settlement snafus. I wasn't so interested in the story itself--it was a bore. I was entertained that this six-column-inch story was put together by no fewer than five--count 'em--five reporters, reporting from four major market centres!
I think this underscores the degree to which the introduction of the euro was a non-event for
