The Bridge newsroom inauguration party, although thrown on the rainiest day of the summer, was quite a success. Bridge splashed out on organic wines, beers and snacks, and had replaced the copy desk in the newsroom with a sushi bar complete with conveyor belt. The party had a very American feel to it--probably something to do with the organic veggie and fruit juice stand and the offerings of crystal therapy as well as massages.
