Fidelity To Pilot FIXML Server From Javelin

BOSTON--Fidelity Investments will be the first to Pilot Javelin's FIXML server. The FIXML pilot will enable Fidelity's new FIX engine, also from Javelin Technologies, to connect to back office networks such as SWIFT. The pilot is scheduled to go live late next month.
Earlier this year Fidelity announced it would be re-engineering the firm's equity trading systems. One of the chief goals Fidelity's pursuing is global straight through processing (STP), according to Mark Greenberg, head of equity
