Reuters Outages On IDN And Dealing 3000
MIDDLEWARE
LONDON--Reuters integrated data network (IDN) dropped last Wednesday after a spike in data traffic, two days after its Dealing 3000 system was disrupted.
The IDN went on the fritz for around 40 minutes. A Reuters official says, "the feed went down after a spike in data traffic, although it was probably a local area network failure at one of Reuters London-based data centres." The outage he adds, "had nothing to do with the integrity of the network."
