NEW YORK--New York-based Level 8 Systems has acquired Momentum Software, of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, maker of asynchronous store and forward message queuing software with the express purpose of creating message-oriented middleware that will scale the Microsoft Windows NT and Unix environments.
