Dublin-based Macalla Software recently unveiled Dynamix, a Corba-ready Extensible Mark-up Language (XML) document server aimed at distributing, caching, filtering, and managing XML documents subject to frequent changes. Dynamix was developed to meet the needs of the financial markets. CORBA and the Internet Inter-Orb Protocol (IIOP) are "ideal on the wire, XML for data representation and portability, and the Internet for delivery", says Niall O'Cléirigh, the CEO of Macalla.
