The joint AUDIT committee of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade is still discussing which of the 13 firms chosen as semi-finalists should build prototypes of the Automated Input Data Terminals, hand-held audit devices (TST, March 26). But Nynex's AGS Information Services, a short-list contender, seems to be emerging as a front-runner in hand-held, wireless communications.

CME: CFTC OKs clearing move to Google Cloud

The CFTC has given the Chicago-based exchange approval to run its clearing and settlement infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform, while the exchange and vendor have extended their partnership to last until at least 2037.
