Midwest Clearing Corp. Exports Software

As the Group of Thirty promotes international standards for clearing and settling trades, the Midwest Stock Exchange is ramping up to sell its clearance, settlement and depository software to overseas exchanges and other financial entities. Although the MSE claims its system is the only one that can support all nine recommendations for clearance and settlement put forward by the G30 in March (TST, March 27), at this early stage customers aren't lining up at the door.
