Globex Partners Name June 25 As Launch Date For System
PROPRIETARY EXECUTION
As expected, the Globex partners this month announced a launch date for their planned futures- and options-trading system. In an announcement in Tokyo on April 8, officials of Globex Corp., the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade said the system would begin commercial trading on the evening of June 25.
The launch date announcement, made at the fourth annual CME-CBOT International Finance Symposium in Tokyo, followed the signing April 8 of a 20-year operating agreement
