Ontario Holds Hearings On Instinet's TSE Operation

The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) last week began hearings on issues sparked by Instinet Canada Ltd.'s application for membership on the Toronto Stock Exchange, granted with restrictions last summer (TST, July 3, 1989). The hearings focus on changes in TSE rules proposed by a TSE committee appointed to study questions arising from Instinet's restricted membership on the exchange.
