Filipino Central Bank Delays PDS Launch While Reuters Fixes Bugs, Adds Functions

The Banco Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), the central monetary authority of the Philippines, has delayed the launch of the Philippines Dealing System (PDS) until June 7, when Reuters will complete customization work and fix the real-time data capture and trade reporting services, says a BSP official.

According to a report in Waters magazine (May 1997), the PDS was scheduled to launch in early April. The central bank is close to signing off on the PDS once the bugs and further changes have been made
