Tokyo Exchange Has New System In Beta

TOKYO--The Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) is developing a new trading system for block transactions, called Tokyo Stock Exchange Trading Network System (TOSTNET).
The system is currently in beta test, with the first stage of the implementation to be completed by June, say TSE officials.
At press time, it was unclear what technology is being used to build the system. Makoto Shimizu, senior assistant manager for the TOSTNET group of the IT department and Takeshi Hirano, assistant manager, both decline
