Reuters Confirms Triarch Port To NT But Users May Not Be Ready For It

LONDON--Reuters has completed work on its long-awaited all-Microsoft Windows NT port of the Reuters Triarch 2000 digital data distribution platform. Although the project is finished, the client demand has yet to be seen.

Reuters has put a lot of effort into developing the NT versions of Kobra and RTW for the front end, and using NT for the back end means that the whole trading room would be operating in a Microsoft environment.

Reuters said the decision was very important for the longer term and
