Scotiabank’s E-Scotia Restructures To Broaden Its Horizons

TORONTO--Scotiabank has broadened the mandate of its e-commerce unit, E-Scotia, and announced its new management structure.

There are two parts to the E-Scotia strategy. One is to make emerging technology work for the end user. The other is to deliver the bank’s products in whatever form customers want them, including via the Internet.

To achieve the latter, E-Scotia can offer everything from advice and support to product development. The unit works closely with individual businesses and their IT
