Reuters Set to Consolidate US Development
ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY
LONDON--Reuters is considering consolidating its dozen-plus US development centers and looks likely to merge some of them into one central site, probably in New York.
Sources say Reuters is set to close its software development centers in Palo Alto, Calif. and Oak Brook, Ill., merging them into its Hauppauge, NY center.
A Reuters spokesperson says the company has a long-term global strategy to reduce the number of development centers, and it is currently looking at the possibility of developing
