SIA Conference Discusses STP, T+1 Milestones
OPERATIONS AND STP
NEW YORK--The Securities Industry Association revealed some key milestone dates about its own progress and to guide firms’ progression toward the new deadline for one-day trade settlement, June 2005, at last week’s STP/T+1 conference in New York.
The "Key Milestones and Building Blocks" report establishes that the SIA is hoping to receive final specs from the virtual matching utilities in the second quarter and will supply a target date for those documents before Feb. 15.
