LIFFE's Open Door Policy For Order Routing, Trading

The London International Financial Futures Exchange is taking an open systems approach to electronically routing and executing orders.

Last week, LIFFE distributed a three-page memo to its members outlining its systems strategy for the future. In the memo, LIFFE chief executive Michael Jenkins told members the exchange wants to take "a credible, practical and flexible approach to the task of providing users of the LIFFE market with an efficient service."

According to the memo, LIFFE has two

CME: CFTC OKs clearing move to Google Cloud

The CFTC has given the Chicago-based exchange approval to run its clearing and settlement infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform, while the exchange and vendor have extended their partnership to last until at least 2037.
