IQ MOVES TO DESKTOP

NEW YORK--IQ Financial Systems, a New York-based provider of trading and risk management software, launched last week Desktop Risk IQ, a Microsoft Windows NT-based standalone risk calculator application. Desktop Risk IQ can be used by traders and those who need to quickly measure the risks of portfolios or potential trades without affecting enterprise-wide risk systems.

The system allows users to calculate value-at-risk (VAR) using the Monte Carlo and Historical and Parametric
