Marathon Brings Fault Tolerance To NT Servers

Marathon Technologies has released Endurance 4000, a hardware/software package that brings fault-tolerant capabilities to Microsoft Windows NT servers. Endurance 4000 allows companies to make use of any Pentium PC hardware and does not require any user applications to be modified.

To implement Endurance 4000, a single NT server requires four physical PCs in two pairs linked via a Marathon-supplied interconnect bus. Each pair consists of a processing PC, which contains just the processor and RAM
