Paying for the Grid

At last week's Street#Grid conference, hosted by DWT and sibling publication Waters, New York's inclement weather couldn't keep technologists away from discussing the deployment, management and politics of grids.

One of the most recurring topics of the day was the proper way to charge back the cost of using the grid to banks' various business lines. So far this is one nut that no one has been able to crack.

IT organizations have successfully managed to wean their business lines away from "hugging"
