Informix and Cloudscape are now one as a result of Cloudscape stockholders' recent approval of Informix's acquisition of Cloudscape. Informix has issued approximately 10 million shares of Informix common stock in exchange for Cloudscape's outstanding stocks and options. Informix plans to combine Cloudscape's 100 per cent Java-based SQL database with Informix Internet Foundation.2000 to create an object/relational platform for e-business applications.
