Instinet Makes the Move to Island Platform

NEW YORK--Instinet will follow through on its plan to offer an integrated matching system by the end of this year, TTW has learned. Dubbed INET, the trading system will represent a single limit order book, rather than the existing dual limit order books of Instinet and Island, linked by the SmartRouter order-routing software.
