Reuters Shifts Priorities of Bangkok, US Labs

ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY

SAN FRANCISCO--Reuters is accelerating plans to make its new Bangkok, Thailand development lab the center of maintenance operations for "end of life" products--those for which Reuters will issue support contracts for only two years onward or less. These include the Reuters Terminals, feed handlers, and the trading floor data-distribution system Triarch, which is being sunsetted in favor of the Reuters Market Data System (RMDS).
