Nigel D. Solkhon, former head of European investment management services and a vice president at State Street Bank, will assume the post of senior consultant to IBM's securities processing group. The group has a world-wide staff of 100 and reports to Tom Shaw, and Simon Nutt, executive for sales in London. Solkhon, who left State Street last month after a year and a half there, has already been working on a number of projects included trade reconcilliation and others related to Straight Through
