ESPEED GROWS REVENUES, CUTS OPERATING LOSS
Espeed has reported results for the third quarter ended September 30, which show a 25 percent rise in revenues to $28.2 million from $22.5 million for the same period in 2000. Revenues from fully electronic trading were $15.7 million, an increase of 20 percent, while revenues from sales of software solutions was $5.5 million, a rise of 137 percent over third quarter 2000.
The firm’s operating loss fell year-on-year from $7.7 million to $4.1 million
