FIX Technical Committee Reviews Progress On Future Enhancements To The Protocol

NEW YORK--Late last month, at the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) technical committee's first meeting since formalizing its structure in June, this year's progress on the protocol was assessed. US FIX representatives attended the New York gathering in person while European representatives were videoconferenced in.

US firms represented included Fidelity Investments, Putnam Investments, American Century, Commerzbank, Fidelity Capital Management, Goldman Sachs, Paine Webber, Morgan Stanley
