The New York Stock Exchange is finally getting serious about off-hours trading, according to a report published last week in the New York Times. NYSE spokesman Richard Torrenzano declines to confirm or deny the accuracy of the report, saying only that, "For the past two years, exchange officials have consulted with a wide range of customers worldwide to assess demand for an off-hours trading facility.
