Since the introduction of the "Open Bloomberg" last month (D&IS, Sept. 25), further details have emerged concerning the technology required to implement the system and the platforms on which it will be available.
Bloomberg has also released more details of the data that users will be able to extract from the Open Bloomberg for use in their own applications. With the usual caveats concerning third-party contributed data and prices that are liable for exchange fees, the company says that this
