J.J. Kenny, ADP May Offer Automated Trading System

Competition among automated trading systems is heating up in the government securities markets. J.J. Kenny Co. Inc. is the latest broker to develop an electronic execution system.

The municipal bond trading system will be ready to demonstrate in two or three weeks, says Thomas Murphy, senior vice president of Kenny.

Robert J. Casale, president of Automatic Data Processing Inc.'s Brokerage Information Services Group, says ADP will "probably" work with Kenny to provide electronic execution
