Swift to Test FIX 4.4 for SwiftNet FIX

BRUSSELS--Officials at industry messaging service provider Swift are hoping that 10 or so firms will take part in its FIX protocol, version 4.4, pilot program for the SwiftNet IP network.
Matt Fox, the New York-based program manager for Swift’s messaging hub for routing FIX messages, SwiftNet FIX, says he is signing up user firms and that Swift would be happy with only 10 firms taking part in the pilot phase. Preparations for the pilot will begin in the third quarter, and the actual pilot tests
