Archipelago Creates Listed Book
ATS/ECN UPDATE
CHICAGO--Archipelago announced last week that it had created a listed book that will enable subscribers to post orders for securities listed on the New York Stock Exchange and American Stock Exchange on its system. In the past, only over-the-counter issues were available on Archipelago.
Users will be able to match trades through Archipelago’s matching engine. Orders that cannot be matched internally will be routed to the primary market. Archipelago subscribers will be able to post orders for
