Compaq’s ZLE Initiative Reaches NYC Trading Floors

NEW YORK--According to a company spokesman at Compaq, a number of Wall Street banks are now employing Compaq’s Global Tradingroom Initiative (GTI) solution set and Zero Latency Enterprise (ZLE) architecture on their trading floors. Users include Merrill Lynch, Citibank and Schwab in the US and UK as well as Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in the UK.

According to Ann Ambrose, industry marketing manager for exchanges and trading solutions in Compaq’s global capital markets group, the GTI initiative
