Reuters Offers RMDS on Linux

SAN FRANCISCO--Reuters is developing a Linux-compliant version of Reuters Market Data System (RMDS), its market data distribution system that takes elements of TIB and Triarch, the company announced last week. Reuters is promoting the project as evidence of its commitment to openness, because it is offering RMDS on a platform other than Sun Solaris. It has already won support from Morgan Stanley.
